Join Associated Bank as a Business Banking Relationship Manager and help small and mid-sized businesses achieve their financial goals. In this role, you’ll build and grow a portfolio of business clients, deepen relationships, and connect customers with the right banking solutions. This is a great opportunity to expand your commercial banking expertise while making a direct impact in the local market.

Key Accountabilities
•    Manage and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships with annual revenues up to $5MM. 
•    Drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth through proactive business development and client retention strategies. 
•    Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored banking solutions, including treasury management, wealth management, and capital markets services. 
•    Analyze financial information and collaborate with Portfolio Managers to structure and recommend credit solutions. 
•    Build strong relationships with clients, prospects, and centers of influence to expand market share. 
•    Identify customer needs and connect clients with specialized banking partners and resources. 
•    Mentor and support junior Relationship Managers in prospecting, relationship building, and sales development. 
•    Represent Associated Bank in the community through networking events, business groups, and local organizations. 

Education & Experience
Required

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
•    5+ years of experience in banking or financial services. 
•    3+ years of experience in business development, business-to-business sales, or relationship management. 
•    Strong communication, relationship-building, and financial analysis skills. 

Preferred
•    Experience managing commercial or small business banking portfolios. 
•    Knowledge of commercial lending, treasury management, and cross-functional banking solutions. 
•    Experience developing referral networks and community partnerships.

$82,180.00 - $140,880.00 per year
