The Opportunity:

Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative personality to lead our Social Media team and make an immediate impact across Vivid Seats and Vivid Picks social channels.
As our Social Media Lead you will manage our Social Media Specialist, oversee Vivid Seat’s holistic social presence and seamlessly collaborate across teams: creative, customer experience, PR, SEO and performance to help grow our brand presence across social channels.
You’ll have the chance to lead social collaborations with brand partners, identify and partner with influencers and see your creative ideas come to reality.
How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:
- Grow our brand presence, contributing to increased fan trust
- Identify real time opportunities to build brand love, gain awareness and delight our fans
- Utilize social listening and channel monitoring to understand our community and inform stakeholders of insights
- Oversee development or our content strategy and monthly calendars across social platforms
- Work across teams to oversee the sourcing, ideation, and co-creation of original content purpose-built for social, utilizing our brand new, state of the art content creation studio
- Oversee monthly reporting to identify trends and insights to inform future content and business decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that social media and influencer partnerships are aligned with business objectives, including audience and growth goals and overall comms strategy
- Availability to work occasional nights & weekends as needed (Concerts, festivals, NFL season, etc.)
- Work in partnership with creative team to develop best-in-class social content and sharpen the Vivid Seats brand voice across all social channels
How your role expectations will progress as a Social Media Lead in the first 30, 90, and 180 days:
30 days in
- Acclimate to Vivid Seats’ values and organizational goals to understand how your department drives initiatives forward.
- Learn how ticket marketplaces operate and how you’ll contribute to providing great experiences for our customers.
- Learn how the marketing & creative teams collaborate to bring campaigns to market.
- Gain an understanding of the brand’s look and feel, social channels and media outlets.
90 days in
- Develop and lead initiatives for your stakeholders that enhance process, drive innovation, and build on Vivid Seats values.
- Build, maintain, and leverage internal and external relationships to achieve progress and advance objectives.
180 days in
- Design and implement process improvements that positively impacts the team.
- Mentor others, playing an active role in elevating the skill sets of those you work with.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience
- Ad/PR agency social media or community management experience preferred
- Paid social experience a plus
- Collaborative approach: Work with business partners, agencies and other key stakeholders to design and carry out brand social activity, ranging from editorial calendar development, to mining insights for input into social content briefs, and direct engagement with customers, fans, and followers in-channel
- Trend identification: Identify and track ongoing trends, as well as escalate any potential issues to internal stakeholders
- Proven experience in setting social media strategy and content direction
- Sports or entertainment industry experience and passion a must
- Extensive knowledge and mastery of social channel mechanics and best practices
- Knowledge and experience with enterprise social media teams and tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, Khoros, Talkwalker etc.)
- Maintain deep understanding of social media metrics and data analysis and ownership of data touchpoints
- Adaptable/flexible personality who can handle the ever-changing demands of the position and work in both strategic and executional capacities
- Positive attitude and genuine excitement to use the latest apps, tools and social platforms to create content and engage communities.
