About KiloKilo is the all-in-one, open-source agentic engineering platform. We're #1 on OpenRouter, have 1M+ active developers, and process over 21 trillion tokens monthly. We're growing fast, shipping constantly, and building in public.
We need someone who knows developers to own our social presence, and scale it to match our momentum.
The RoleYou'll own Kilo's social media and content calendar end-to-end. This isn't scheduling posts and calling it a day - you'll be the person who figures out what makes developers stop scrolling, builds the systems to keep content flowing, and drives real growth across every channel.
The goal is to drive following and engagement statistics, and work with the developer relations team to help maximize the distribution of content
You'll work directly with Developer Relations to define priorities and content strategy. You'll have autonomy to move fast and make calls.
What You'll DoOwn the content calendar across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, newsletter, and blog
Develop and execute growth strategies for each channel
Identify trend-jacking opportunities and create real-time content when they hit
Build a content recycling system so nothing gets posted and forgotten
Handle primary social engagement (replies, quote tweets, jumping into conversations)
Collaborate on product launches, announcements, and campaigns
Work with our video clipper to post social-native clips from long-form content
Track what's working, kill what isn't, and iterate fast
Proven experience growing social accounts for developer tools, open-source projects, or technical audiences (show us the numbers)
Strong content instincts — you know what performs with developers and why
Can write in a developer-to-developer voice (no corporate fluff, no "excited to announce")
Comfortable moving fast and making calls without a 10-step approval process
Experience managing content calendars across multiple interfaces
Understands the developer tools landscape and what's happening in AI/coding/open-source
Has opinions about content and isn't afraid to share them
Bonus points:
You have your own following in the dev/tech space
You've built social presence at a company developers know
You've worked with open-source communities
You speak multiple languages (Spanish, Mandarin)
We want to be transparent about what it takes to succeed here.
We Work Exceptionally Hard: We are ambitious, and ambition requires effort. Most people who do not succeed at Kilo fail because they underestimate the work ethic required. We’re not a 9-9-6 shop, but we do expect you to bring energy, intensity, and grit every single day.
High Accountability: We don't hide behind vanity metrics. You will have a number (WAUzer), and you will be responsible for hitting it.
A Driven Culture: We foster healthy competition and a shared will to win. We support each other, but we also push each other to be the absolute best.
