Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in networking, business development, sales, or program management specifically focused on software licensing, volume buying programs, or Enterprise Agreements (EAs).
- Extensive experience in customer business outcomes and value-based selling/structuring; proven ability to articulate and document the monetary and operational impact of a software agreement.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex, multi-year contracts with large enterprise clients.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of SaaS and perpetual licensing models.

- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to executive stakeholders (internal and external), legal teams, and operational teams.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
The Software Advisor, Networking Agreements Specialist (EA) is a high-impact, strategic role responsible for the full lifecycle management of our most critical client contracts: Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and long-term software/maintenance programs.
This specialist will be the primary driver in structuring, negotiating, and capturing these complex agreements, and then providing essential, strategic post-sales support to ensure successful adoption, renewal, and expansion. This role requires a dynamic professional with deep experience in translating our software solutions into measurable customer business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Agreement Capture (Pre-Sales & Negotiation)
- Lead the Capture Strategy: Drive the end-to-end process of structuring, pricing, and negotiating new and renewal Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and volume buying programs.
- Business Outcome Translation: Work closely with sales, product, and finance teams to clearly articulate how the proposed EA structure delivers against the customer's specific business outcomes and strategic goals.
- Contract Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on all terms, conditions, and financial models related to the EA and software programs. - Post-Sales & Lifecycle Management
- Strategic Handoff: Ensure a seamless transition from sales to post-sales/customer success teams, providing critical context on the EA's negotiated business drivers and success metrics.
- Usage and Compliance: Support the monitoring of customer consumption and usage metrics against the EA terms to ensure compliance and identify expansion opportunities.
- Renewal Planning: Initiate and drive the renewal strategy for EAs, focusing on demonstrating captured value and preparing the customer for the next phase of their agreement. - Market Responsiveness & Adaptability
- Market Sensing: Proactively monitor market conditions, competitor programs, and regulatory changes that may impact our Enterprise Agreement structures.
- Program Evolution: Be a leading voice in recommending and implementing changes to our EA models and buying programs based on real-world customer and market feedback.
