Purpose of Role

Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom software solutions. Works closely with both the product owner and development team to deliver high quality software to meet stakeholder requirements. Makes the team better by helping others when needed, providing ideas during the planning/refinement process, and encouraging discussion and collaboration with other developers. Follows all company standards and processes without supervision.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• As part of a team, aligns with the business to architect and implement enterprise-level software that puts the customer first. 

• Collaborates with teammates to produce sophisticated designs and quality products to take our deliverables to the next level.

• Participates in Scrum teams to build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using a cloud-first approach, when possible.

• Participates in Agile Scrum ceremonies (e.g. sprint plans, backlog grooming, and restrospective two-week sprints). 

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a full stack .Net developer.

• Minimum 1 year of experience with .Net Core.

• Experience with a JavaScript framework like Angular or React.  Angular preferred.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

• Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework or Dapper.

• Familiarity with Docker containers.

• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

• Ablility to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.

• Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests.

• Experience writing HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or BitBucket.

• Experience with a cloud provider such as AWS.

• Experience with Agile software development lifecycle tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Bachelor's Degree

Computer Science or related field.
