Job Description

The Software Performance Engineer ensures software is adhering to quality standards. The position’s main focus is to tune the Adobe ES4 environment and to integrate J2EE-compatible applications to Adobe ES4. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Resource must have experience in the following areas. 

• Configure, tune, and optimize for Adobe server side products including ES4 on WebSphere Application Servers. 

• Develop, implement and configure enterprise solutions to integrate J2EE-compatible applications to Adobe ES4. 

• Assist clients in achieving strategic e-business objectives through technology solution implementation. 

• Document knowledge and best practices. 

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 

• Optimize and test existing software to enhance and improve performance, functionality and usability. 

• Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, and bug fixing. 

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to help define and implement requirements for backend services, components and interfaces. 

• Writing complete functional specifications, and test and document well-structured code against designs which scale and perform well for customers. 

• Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in computer science and 3-5 years professional software development experience or equivalent. 

• Demonstrated mastery in software development and debugging. 

• Proficient in multi-threaded design and implementation. 

• Proficient in Test Driven Development. 

• Experience with Linux, GIT, mySQL 

• Ability to quickly learn and apply complex subjects and technologies. 

• Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate initiative and high self-motivation. Enthusiastic, creative and positive attitude. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Highly collaborative working style.
