About Aleysian

Aleysian is a B2B technology consulting firm that designs and builds the revenue foundation connecting selling, quoting, billing, and fulfillment into a single structural system. We work at the intersection of quote-to-cash and digital commerce, engaging at the C-suite level to architect around your revenue model, not just implement tools. The result is infrastructure built to hold under the weight of growth, across every channel, at scale.

The role

The Solution Owner owns the target-state design for our clients' Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementations and the trade-offs behind it, translating business requirements into a data model, security model, and automation strategy that holds up at real transaction volume and process complexity. The role leads cross-functional teams from requirements gathering through solution design and configuration, and carries a business development mandate: identifying client needs, defining solutions, and supporting pre-sales activities such as estimating and project planning. Our ideal candidate brings 7+ years of consulting experience, a track record leading Salesforce implementations, and a history of growing the business through strong client relationships.

This is a hybrid role based in our downtown Chicago office.

What you'll doSolution design & architecture
  • Lead technical discovery and own the solution design document, including every build-versus-configure call in it.
  • Present the design and the reasoning behind it to business and IT stakeholders, and run architecture and design review sessions.
  • Flag scope or technical risk directly, and sign off with the client on the design before build starts.
  • Review build work against the approved design and catch drift before UAT.
  • Validate that production matches the approved design at go-live, and hand the architecture to the client's team.
  • Escalate platform risk (licensing, limits, data volume) before it reaches the client.
Project delivery
  • Lead teams of multiple consultants on an engagement from start to finish, ensuring quality of work and continued growth.
  • Partner with the project manager on any scope or timeline call that touches the design, and mentor developers and the business analyst on the target architecture.
  • Handle project management planning and execution for software implementations, and perform hands-on work throughout every phase of the project.
  • Communicate and report project status to client leadership, including budget, risks, and general business issues.
  • Respond to client needs quickly and professionally.
Business development
  • Participate in business development with prospective clients, including solution definition, pre-sales, estimating, negotiating, and project planning.
  • Understand client business processes and technology needs in concert with Salesforce Revenue Cloud to create work plans, pricing estimates, and long-term program roadmaps.
  • Stay motivated to identify business within your own network, drawing on past relationships to generate new business.
What you bring

REQUIRED

  • 7+ years of experience in a business analyst or consulting manager role on software implementation projects, with a proven track record of successful implementations as the project lead.
  • Hands-on experience with Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) and Revenue Cloud Billing (RCB), CPQ: configuration, pricing and quoting models, and the migration path between them.
  • Strong command of the Salesforce data model, sharing, and security architecture at enterprise data volume.
  • Working knowledge of Flow, Apex, and integration patterns, deep enough to review a build, defend a design choice, and document it for a client's architects.
  • Track record leading discovery workshops with client resources as part of project scoping and delivery, and experience serving as the primary point of contact for customers.
  • Comfortable running a room of executives and engineers at once, and saying no to a request that breaks the architecture in terms the client accepts.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, and comfortable working in a small company and a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without limitation.

PREFERRED

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Compensation & benefits
  • Base salary $190,000–$225,000, commensurate with experience.
  • 15% performance bonus, full medical, dental, vision coverage, and 401(k) with company match.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Home internet and mobile phone reimbursement.
  • Flexible schedule, hybrid from our downtown Chicago office.
