About the Job

Aspen Standard Wealth is scaling rapidly through acquisition, and we're hiring a Director of Advisor Platform Operations to own the post-onboarding success of partner firms on Aspen's core technology platform. Where the onboarding role gets firms live, this role makes sure they actually get value — driving continued adoption, service expansion, and advisor satisfaction.

This role is ideal for an operator with a product or customer success background who understands not just what software does, but how advisors actually use it — and who can translate platform capability into measurable business outcomes.

This role is fully onsite in Chicago with 10% travel required.

Responsibilities

Below are the core areas of work for this role. Over time, responsibilities may evolve, but this should provide a clear view of what to expect.

  • Develop and own the handoff mechanism from onboarding completion to ongoing advisor success, ensuring no firm falls through the gap between go-live and full adoption

  • Establish and track success measures for continued platform adoption — time savings, feature coverage, usage volumes, and advisor satisfaction

  • Build and maintain a cadence of continuing education, feature rollouts, and expansion conversations with existing partner firms

  • Identify and close adoption gaps — through workflow configuration, training, or creative use of available platform functionality

  • Translate platform capabilities into business outcomes advisors care about: saved time, consistency of execution, and where possible, P&L impact

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for partner firms post-onboarding, managing ongoing satisfaction and net promoter score

  • Stay current on our platforms and their evolving features and set adjacent point solutions in the wealth management space

Experiences and Functional Skills Required
  • 5–10 years in a product, customer success, or platform operations role — ideally at a wealth-focused SaaS or financial services technology company

  • Demonstrated track record of driving software adoption and expanding platform usage across a user base

  • Comfortable learning how users interact with complex toolkits and constructing solutions through configuration and training — not just documentation

  • Able to translate software capabilities and workflow configurations into business outcomes; ideally able to connect these to P&L impact

  • Strong relationship management skills with a track record of high client satisfaction scores

  • Hands-on experience with CRM, portfolio accounting, trading/rebalancing, client portal, and wealth management custody platforms (e.g. WealthScape, Schwab Advisor Center)

  • Comfortable in Excel and PowerPoint; demonstrated use of AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, or AI embedded in SaaS platforms

Behaviors and Mindsets Required
  • INTERPERSONAL SAVVY – Reads people and situations accurately and adjusts behavior to work effectively with others.

MANAGING COMPLEXITY – Navigates competing priorities and interdependencies without oversimplifying.

Aspen Benefits

Aspen Standard Wealth offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee health, financial security, and overall well-being. Full-time employees in this role are eligible for:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions

  • Commuter Benefits

  • 401(k) Plan with a 4% employer match

  • Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • Life Insurance Coverage
