Specialist Operational Risk Management Assurance

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of Operational Risk Management and Assurance (ORMA) Annual Plan and Execution.
  • Support advocates a culture of fraud risk awareness in the areas assigned 
  • Take responsibility for ORMA engagement deliverables and discussion of recommendations and agreed remedial actions
  • Close monitoring of the engagements and ensure that necessary key milestones are achieved in line with the plan 
  • Ensure all operational risk management and assurance engagements are carried out in compliance with the written methodology
  • Carry out QAIP (Quality Assurance and Improvement program)
  • A good understanding of internal control monitoring frameworks and internal auditing is a must

Qualifications, Experience, Skill, and Competencies:

  • Graduates in Finance, Accounting or relevant field 
  • Fully qualified in ICASL or ACCA
  • Highest standards of ethics, integrity, objectivity, competency and confidentiality
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and confidence to take ideas forward and to challenge others
  • A good understanding of fraud risk management 
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to perform independently and as a team member
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
