  • Develop and analyze customer contract and pricing requests including product additions, price reductions, and right of first refusals. 

  • Review bids, contract renewals, and customer requests to ensure company profitability and maintain market pricing.

  • Assist in the analysis and execution of customer terms and amendments.  Create customer offer letters and coordinate with legal as needed.

  • Prepare and review customer opportunities for approval and coordinate with supply chain and cross functionally as needed. 

  • Analyze historical sales trends, IQVIA prescription trends, market intelligence, and other pertinent information to recommend changes to customer pricing, pricing models, and bid lists. 

  • Assist in upcoming new product launch preparation activities.

  • Attend and participate in meetings as requested.

  • Analyze product awards and offers to recommend strategic pricing changes.

  • Develop, review, and analyze customer rebate structures and track performance.

  • Communicate pricing developments to appropriate functional areas as required. 

  • Communicate with Finance, Government Reporting, Sales, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Marketing on pricing and usage models and analysis for forecast and accrual coordination.

  • Administer pricing activities in accordance with the Pricing Committee.

  • Implement pricing activities in the various systems timely and accurately.

  • Coordinate product and customer reporting and analysis with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Relations and Leadership.

  • Assist in the preparation of product and customer reporting and analysis within Pricing & Contracts and cross-functionally throughout the organization as needed.

  • Perform special projects as assigned per leadership’s request.   

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 

  • Must possess strong knowledge of sales, marketing, finance, economics, and accounting preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Successful candidate must possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; the ability to present analysis in a clear, concise manner; be a strong team player; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships; have the ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines; demonstrate the initiative to work with others to advance knowledge and a willingness and ability, to learn new things, to take on new tasks and responsibilities; have strong computer application skills especially Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; must be able to protect confidential and sensitive information.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organization.

  • Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates.

  • Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.  Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.

  • Typically sitting at a desk or table.  Intermittently sitting, standing, walking or stoopingMay be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps.  May require use of hands and use of arms.  Sedentary lifting requirements. 

  • Normal office situation.

  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $41,000 - $93,000.
