What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a growth-minded marketer with a passion for shaping brands and strong general management skills to join us as an Associate Brand Manager. Bring your self-starting mindset and leadership skills to play a key role in advancing an iconic portfolio of brands.

This role supports Nutri-Grain and Special K, reporting to the Sr. Brand Manager. You'll drive growth in the dynamic better-for-you bar category by delivering best-in-class, full-funnel marketing and commercial plans, while also supporting key day-to-day business needs and strategic initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, MBA is an asset

  • 2+ years of experience in brand management, CPG marketing or related field

  • Demonstrated strength in leveraging marketing competencies and strategic insights to inform brand strategy / action plans

  • Strong data driven analytical skills, financial proficiency and experience managing a budget 

  • Familiarity with brand positioning, innovation and project leadership, commercial strategies  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a leader / partner with cross-functional counterparts such as Innovation, Finance, Sales, R&D, Media Supply Chain, Insights and others to deliver against business objectives.

  • Develop brand and innovation strategies partnering with the Brand Manager and cross-functional teams to analyze the business and transform consumer, category and business insights into action plans to deliver business. 

  • Lead consumption and in market brand analysis to diagnose, understand and communicate business drivers and performance.

  • Lead full funnel budget tracking and prioritization across full funnel tactics in support of full funnel media strategies and commercial priorities.

  • Support key marketing initiatives including social, influencer, national media, and omni-channel activations in partnership with agency teams, while analyzing business performance to generate actionable insights that inform strategy. 

  • Lead the commercialization of ideas that support key business objectives, applying your project management skills to balance multiple initiatives with the support of your business partners. 

  • Protect and strengthen each brand’s positioning, identity, and distinctive assets while ensuring consistent, relevant execution across consumer and customer experiences.

  • Champion your brand with a proactive, externally minded approach, anticipating key next steps, providing recommendations and operating with a bias for action.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 108,160.00 - USD 148,720.00
