*** This position must be located in Bellevue, WA; Overland Park, KS; Frisco, TX; or New York, NY. This is not a remote role, this is a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days a week in office.
This role delivers insights and supports leaders in making strategic and operational decisions through advanced data analysis techniques. It primarily involves generating analysis, reporting, and recommendations using statistics, data science, and business intelligence tools. The role differentiates itself by leading collaborative efforts across multiple teams to address complex modeling and analysis requests. Success is measured by the quality of insights provided, effectiveness of communication, and impact on decision-making processes. The work influences organizational strategies and customer experiences by enabling data-driven improvements and informed business actions. Specific to this role is the required Strategy (Micro Strategy) Reporting Tool Set knowledge and experience including Dashboards, Reports, Hypercards, etc.) knowledge and experience , report building, and backend data construction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights and recommendations that optimize experiences by collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Develop and maintain data and reporting solutions including reports, dashboards, and self-service tools to support enterprise objectives
  • Apply analytical and modeling techniques to enhance decision-making and prioritize resources across various business options
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate complex analytical findings to influence leadership decisions
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects, as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Data analysis, data science, decision science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)
  • 7-10 years Analytics experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (Required)
  • Reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) (Required)
  • Advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research (Required)
  • Experience with Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science language preferred. (Required)
  • Telecommunications (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
