Description
The Lifecycle Services Business Development Stategist develops and executes strategic plans to support, position, and expand CDW DeviceCycle programs aligned to AIG product warranty offering. This role is responsible for driving growth across current programs while identifying and building new program opportunities that strengthen CDW's device lifecycle value proposition. The individual partners closely with AIG, CDW sales, lifecycle services, and operational stakeholders to advance customer opportunities, enable seller awareness, support proposal and program development, and build executive-level relationships that accelerate adoption of DeviceCycle solutions.
What You will Do:
* Develop and execute business development strategies to support growth, adoption, and expansion of CDW DeviceCycle programs aligned to AIG across targeted customer segments and sales channels.
* Partner with CDW sales, Lifecycle Services, OEM, AIG, and operational teams to support current DeviceCycle programs, resolve program needs, and ensure consistent execution across customer opportunities.
* Identify, evaluate, and help build new DeviceCycle program opportunities that align customer lifecycle challenges with CDW repair, warranty, accidental damage protection, spare pool, and device continuity capabilities.
* Support sales teams in developing and managing DeviceCycle opportunity pipelines, including opportunity qualification, solution positioning, forecasting, and visibility into program performance and growth opportunities.
* Lead or support customer-facing discussions, presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and proposal development related to DeviceCycle programs, ensuring solutions are positioned clearly, competitively, and in alignment with customer requirements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define program requirements, pricing inputs, operational workflows, support models, and documentation needed to launch, scale, and sustain DeviceCycle offerings.
* Create and deliver field enablement, training, messaging, and best-practice resources that improve sales awareness, seller confidence, and customer adoption of DeviceCycle solutions.
* Monitor market, customer, and competitive trends to identify gaps, refine program positioning, and recommend enhancements that strengthen CDW's lifecycle services value proposition.
* Provide AIG leadership and operations market trends and DeviceCycle client and prospect intelligence to proactively support product development and pricing.
What We Expect of You:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 5 years of experience in technology market
* Strong understanding of device lifecycle services, including repair, warranty, accidental damage protection, spare device continuity, deployment, refresh, recovery, and disposition programs.
* Demonstrated ability to support, position, and grow DeviceCycle or related lifecycle services programs across sales channels, customer segments, and partner ecosystems.
* Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing new program opportunities that align customer device management challenges with scalable service, warranty, protection, and continuity solutions.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, Lifecycle Services, OEM, AIG, operations, finance, legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders to define program requirements, resolve issues, and advance opportunities.
* Strong business development skills with experience building pipeline, qualifying opportunities, supporting forecasts, and translating program value into clear customer and seller messaging.
* Excellent presentation, written communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to explain DeviceCycle capabilities, AIG-aligned program value, and lifecycle services outcomes to executive, sales, operational, and customer audiences.
* Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch, including program design, requirements gathering, pricing input, enablement, process alignment, and ongoing performance improvement.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing customer, partner, and business needs.
* Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate market trends, competitive positioning, program performance, and opportunities to expand CDW's DeviceCycle portfolio.
* Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when working with partner information, customer opportunities, pricing inputs, program strategy, and internal business plans.
* Self-directed, results-oriented, and able to take initiative, manage priorities, and execute responsibilities independently with minimal oversight.
* High energy and team-oriented candidate.
* Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations or client sites
* Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
* Ability to excel in a high-touch, high-volume environment by effectively managing multiple priorities, staying organized, and consistently following through on commitments and obligations.
* Experience with device lifecycle services, warranty, accidental damage protection, repair, or related technology services programs, preferred.
* Proven success developing, launching, or growing technology services programs that support customer device management, protection, continuity, or lifecycle outcomes, preferred.
* Demonstrated business development experience with the ability to build partner alignment, influence cross-functional stakeholders, create sales momentum, and drive measurable program results, preferred. Base Pay: $90,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and skill set. Annual bonus target of 53.85% subject to terms and conditions of plan. Total Target Compensation: up to $153,850.
