The opportunity

Storable is transforming how Storage Sales operates. We have a clear vision for a more predictable, data-driven, and scalable sales engine, and we are building the operating system to support it.

The Sr. Director, Sales Operations - Storage will lead that build. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can set strategy, create operating discipline, and work directly in the data, dashboards, systems, and processes required to make the vision real.

You will lead Storage Sales Operations and partner closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing Operations, Business Operations, Enablement, GTM AI, BI, and executive leadership. The right person will be energized by creating structure where it does not yet exist, making progress through imperfect data and system constraints, and building capabilities that scale.

What you will do

  • Establish a consistent operating rhythm for forecasting, pipeline inspection, deal review, bookings management, manager actions, QBRs, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with Sales leaders and managers to improve pipeline hygiene, stage discipline, forecast accuracy, documented next steps, and deal-risk inspection.
  • Own the Storage Sales reporting roadmap across pipeline health, funnel conversion, forecast accuracy, activity, productivity, revenue quality, and GTM efficiency.
  • Build and improve the dashboards and reporting views needed to run the business, including rep, manager, CRO, executive, and board-level views.
  • Personally create, validate, and improve reporting models and interim solutions while the long-term dashboarding capability is being built.
  • Establish clear KPI definitions, ownership, data sources, quality checks, and a governed reporting home across Salesforce, Tableau, Gong, spreadsheets, and related tools.
  •  Lead the operating response to bookings accuracy, including definitions and process controls for new, expansion, cross-sell, win-back, and debooking scenarios.
  • Build the historical data foundation needed to understand seasonality, conversion, pipeline requirements, forecast behavior, and sales performance.
  • Partner with Finance on forecast validation, bookings reconciliation, historical data, and shared definitions.
  • Evaluate automation and AI opportunities that improve reporting, analysis, workflow execution, and decision speed while maintaining appropriate governance.
  • Manage the Storage Sales Operations portfolio by clearly distinguishing delivered work, current priorities, future opportunities, and work that should not be pursued yet.
  • Make thoughtful trade-offs based on revenue impact, risk reduction, time to value, effort, dependencies, and available capacity.

What you will build

In your first year, you will help establish the foundation for a scalable Storage Sales Operations function. Success will include:

  • A repeatable forecast and pipeline operating cadence that Sales leaders and managers use consistently.
  • A trusted KPI framework with one owner, one definition, and a clear source for the metrics used to run Storage Sales.
  • Connected reporting that supports frontline inspection as well as CRO, executive, and board-level decision making.
  • Improved visibility into pipeline coverage, created pipeline, pacing, forecast accuracy, bookings accuracy, funnel conversion, productivity, and revenue quality.
  • A prioritized two-quarter roadmap that sequences adoption, interim reporting bridges, new builds, data and Salesforce improvements, and deferred work.
  • Clear ownership, stronger documentation, and a team that can deliver both daily operations and foundational transformation work.

What you bring

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, GTM Strategy, or a related discipline, including significant leadership experience.
  • Experience leading Sales Operations or Revenue Operations in a B2B SaaS or recurring-revenue business.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, pipeline management, bookings, quota attainment, territory and segmentation planning, funnel conversion, sales productivity, and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reporting - not only managing the people who build them.
  • Strong Salesforce fluency, including opportunity data, forecast processes, field governance, reporting, and data quality. You do not need to be a Salesforce administrator, but you must be able to partner credibly with systems experts.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Salesforce reporting, advanced spreadsheets, or comparable BI and reporting environments.
  • Experience creating KPI frameworks, source-of-truth models, SOPs, reporting governance, QA routines, and change-management plans.
  • Ability to work through imperfect data, incomplete processes, system constraints, and competing stakeholder requests while improving the underlying system.
  • Proven success leading transformation or build programs from current-state assessment through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience operating in a private-equity-backed or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to navigate rapid change and organizational pivots, is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and financial fluency, with the ability to connect operating metrics to revenue outcomes and business decisions.
  • A track record of developing analysts and operators into stronger business partners.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to turn complex data into a concise narrative, recommendation, and ask.
  • Practical experience using automation and AI to improve reporting, analysis, workflow execution, or decision speed.

How you work

  • You combine strategic judgment with a willingness to work directly in the details when the business needs it.
  • You create clarity without waiting for perfect information and make thoughtful trade-offs when capacity is limited.
  • You follow work through from question to definition, build, validation, adoption, and measurable outcome.
  • You build standards before exceptions, simplify wherever possible, and communicate early when priorities or dependencies change.
  • You bring steady leadership through a multi-phase transformation and model the ownership, preparation, follow-through, and collaboration you expect from your team.
