Responsibilities /
Main Activities
Test Management & Strategy
- Define and standardize global system test processes, reporting methods, and strategies aligned with ASPICE, ISO/IEC standards, and ADAS product roadmaps.
- Develop comprehensive system test plans, test coverage strategies, and execution roadmaps for product life cycles on Bench & Vehicle.
- Review stakeholder requirements, develop detailed test cases, and ensure proper test coverage.
- Identify and define use cases for vehicle-level ADAS testing, create test scenarios, and execute tests on the vehicle
- Participate in quoting and planning activities for new business, providing cost-effective and scalable test solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and external standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/IEC TR 15504).
HIL & Test Infrastructure Development
- Design, develop, and deploy Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and related test benches using Matlab/Simulink, dSPACE, NI Veristand, ETAS Labcar, IPG Carmaker, and Vector CANoe.
- Create and maintain Rest Bus Simulations, plant models, loss models, and closed-loop control algorithms for realistic system-level testing.
- Define the roadmap for future test setups, including equipment upgrades, RCP systems, and infrastructure automation.
- Provide documentation, user manuals, and training to cross-functional teams for efficient bench utilization.
Bench/Vehicle Execution Planning & Automation
- Develop test automation scripts and libraries using Python, CAPL, and dSPACE AutomationDesk.
- Define execution schedules, prioritize test sequences, and implement automated test pipelines.
- Perform bench and vehicle level testing, execute regression campaigns, and support debugging and defect tracking activities.
- Lead planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of all system test activities across multiple ADAS programs.
Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze test results, debug issues, identify root causes, and prepare comprehensive test reports/dashboards.
- Present test status, KPIs, and defect trends to development teams and management.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, execution, and results.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a technical lead for system test strategy, setup, and execution.
- Mentor and guide system test engineers on test case design, reporting, and analysis.
- Interface with software, hardware, and integration teams to align test coverage with program goals.
- Represent system test activities in customer meetings and technical reviews.
