Position Summary

CDK is a $1.8B Annual Revenue Software Solutions provider for the Automotive Industry located in Hoffman Estates, IL. CDK is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Systems team, working closely with Accounting, FP&A and Enterprise IT leading the Oracle Cloud (Fusion) ERP. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst serve as the subject matter expert providing support and training users, troubleshooting issues related to Oracle Fusion (Cloud) ERP, Oracle EPM ARCS, and Metadata. Oracle Cloud applications have downstream impacts on several general ledger feeder systems, databases, and analytical tools.  The position is responsible for maintaining the data integrity of Oracle Cloud ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be a strong self-starter that works well with minimal direction and ambiguity, learns new concepts quickly, is comfortable leading large cross-functional teams and can build strong partnerships within accounting, FP&A, EIT and other partner groups across the company.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions:

  • Manage Oracle Cloud Financial Applications.
    • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): GAAP & IFRS GLs, Subledgers: Lease Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Cash Management
    • General Ledger Allocations
    • Governance of Oracle GL account maintenance including activate/troubleshoot/end date GL strings, cross validation rules
    • Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
  • Support Salesforce Billing and Right Rev (Revenue Recognition) Table maintenance, Right Rev configurations, and integrations to Oracle Cloud GL.
  • Collaboration with EIT on system configurations, application, reporting, and integration settings across Oracle ERP and EPM ARCS.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounting, IT, FP&A, Internal Compliance) to ensure system integration and data accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes including accelerating the month end close, systems, implementing best practices.
  • Partner with other subject matter experts within finance, accounting, E-IT to manage the assigned touchpoints to drive consistency across the enterprise.
  • Lead or participate in system implementation projects, including requirements gathering, testing, and training.
  • Execute Oracle quarterly new features acceptance testing; present test results and provide training as necessary.
  • Analyze moderately complex business issues with recommendations for automated systems, or business process solutions.
  • Contribute to evaluating new software products to determine their applicability to current and future IT environments.
  • Exercise sound judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions when accomplishing objectives.
  • Applies a broad range of theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to developmental assignments.

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience working with corporate financial systems, preferably with a public traded company
  • Oracle Cloud ERP expertise required.
  • Salesforce Billing, CRMA and Revenue Recognition experience a plus.
  • 2 years’ public accounting or relevant accounting/ financial reporting experience
  • Strong proficiency with MS Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, lookups, and Macros
  • Proven ability to quickly learn business processes and adapt to changing priorities
  • Aptitude to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with all levels
  • Strong analytical skills in problem solving, business processes and attention to detail
  • Superior judgment and discretion working with both confidential and sensitive information
  • Medium-large scale Project management and/or ERP implementation experience a plus

Preferred Attributes & Qualifications

  • CPA credentials preferred
  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
  • Oracle Cloud ERP and/or EDMCS certification

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
