ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Sr. Manager Commercial Reporting & Analytics (Commercial & Marketing) leads business intelligence and analytics strategy across sales performance and marketing effectiveness, spanning business performance management, commercial analytics, marketing measurement, and data management. This role is a key leader within the Commercial Operations, Strategy & Analytics function and essential to support our vision of customer-centricity. 

The role oversees two direct reports (Manager, Commercial Analytics and Manager, Marketing Analytics) within a total team of four and is responsible for delivering integrated, end-to-end insights across the commercial funnel for the full North American business (US, Canada, Puerto Rico) and TAM expansion geographies in the future. This individual partners cross-functionally to translate data into actionable insights that influence execution, drive growth, improve ROI, and enhance decision-making. 

This role collaborates closely across the Commercial organization—including Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Merchandising, and Commercial Strategy & Planning—and partners with FP&A, Data Science, and IT to ensure alignment, data integrity, and scalable analytics capabilities.

Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Exempt 

Remote Available 

Pay Range: $135,000.00–$150,000.00 annually, based on experience, with bonus potential.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

Team Leadership & Development 

  • Define and lead the analytics vision across commercial and marketing functions, translating strategy into a clear execution roadmap that improves visibility into business drivers and enables performance optimization.  
  • Establish and promote best practices across performance management, business intelligence, and commercial and marketing analytics.  
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.  
  • Build team capabilities in Power BI, advanced analytics, and insight storytelling to strengthen business partnership.  
  • Partner with Commercial Strategy to support business planning and development of both longer term (3-year Strat Plan) and annual (AOP) commercial strategies.  
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Commercial Strategy on reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes.  
  • Advise on data, tools, and systems required to support scalable analytics and reporting, including optimization of new CRM platform.  

Performance Management & Sales Enablement 

  • Own commercial performance management, including KPI definition, governance, and cross-functional alignment.  
  • Lead the monthly cadence of Sales Leadership Reviews and Monthly Commercial Operating Reviews (MORs), delivering clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations.  
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards and reporting used across Sales and senior leadership.  
  • Standardize reporting, scorecards, and performance tracking across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Marketing.  
  • Embed disciplined, data-driven ways of working focused on profitable growth and accountability.  
  • Deliver insights across customers, segments, brands, and products to identify opportunities and risks.  
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to enable go-to-market execution through actionable insights and performance tracking.  
  • Lead root cause analysis and translate findings into clear, prioritized actions.  
  • Evaluate effectiveness of sales programs, commercial initiatives, and marketing activities through structured and ad hoc analysis.  

Go-to-Market Activation & Execution 

  • Partner with Sales, RGM, and Commercial Strategy & Planning to support go-to-market strategy, activation, and execution.  
  • Monitor performance of commercial initiatives and recommend optimizations to improve outcomes.  
  • Support development and execution of the long-term Value Creation Plan, including customer segmentation, activation strategies, and resource allocation.  

Marketing Strategy & Measurement 

  • Lead the development of a full-funnel marketing measurement framework across brand, demand generation, and retention.  
  • Oversee campaign measurement, including KPI design, attribution approaches, and ROI evaluation.  
  • Analyze marketing effectiveness and efficiency across channels (e.g., paid search, email, web, social, and campaigns).  
  • Support e-commerce analytics, including traffic, conversion, and customer journey optimization.  
  • Integrate commercial and customer insights into marketing strategy to strengthen targeting, execution, and performance.  

Cross-Functional Insights & Strategic Influence 

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, delivering insights that shape commercial and marketing decisions.  
  • Partner with IT and Data teams to improve data infrastructure, integration, and accessibility.  
  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, and Data Science to align on metrics, reporting, and insights. 
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for executive audiences.  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

(Required)

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics across commercial (sales) and marketing domains.  
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing analytics teams.  
  • Demonstrated experience applying advanced analytics to drive insights across Sales and Marketing functions.  
  • Strong expertise in KPI development, performance management, dashboarding, and data analysis.  
  • Proficiency in Power BI (or similar BI tools) and experience working with large, complex datasets.  
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.   

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT 

  • Experience in B2B environments, ideally within distribution, apparel, or similar industries.  
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL for data extraction and validation.  
  • Familiarity with e-commerce analytics and digital marketing platforms.  
  • Experience with marketing measurement methodologies (e.g., attribution, MMM, incrementality testing).  
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) in Analytics, Business, Economics, or a related field.  

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
