The Role
We are looking to fill a position within the Digital Business Transformation Supply Chain teams as we embark on transforming our legacy materials management and procurement processes and systems. This role will bridge business and IT teams in support of the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem deployment within Global Purchasing & Supply Chain (GPSC). A Sr. Manager - Digital Business Transformation helps GPSC identify, evaluate, and implement new ideas, applications, and processes that improve organizational performance. This includes significant cross-functional engagement with GPSC functional areas and IT.
What You'll Do
  • Lead cross-functional innovation projects that enhance capabilities and efficiencies across GPSC.
  • Collaborate with business and IT partners on innovation initiatives that align with GPSC's business strategy and priorities.
  • Apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving to explore alternative solutions and recommend the most effective approaches.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by continuously learning new methodologies, tools, and best practices and sharing them across the organization.

SAP-Enabled Process & Integration
  • Act as a business-focused integrator across legacy GM applications and SAP S/4HANA for supply chain/materials management or purchasing value streams
  • Ensure processes remain fit-to-standard and align to business objectives through workshops, simulations, and process walk-throughs.
  • Partner with business owners and IT to define, document, and prioritize business requirements for SAP-enabled solutions and process changes.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics that monitor roadmap progress, process adoption, data quality, and business outcomes, and communicate insights through concise, informative materials for leadership.
  • Drive change management and training by supporting the development of training content, job aids, and change impact assessments; enable end-user readiness at plants, regional offices and global GPSC organizations.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, technical, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or manufacturing within a complex environment (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered).
  • Experience interacting with business partners, managing expectations, and influencing in a global organization.
  • Hands-on ERP experience with meaningful exposure to SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) in at least one area such as MM, PP/MRP, SD/logistics execution, or supplier integration/EDI/ASN processes.
  • Strong strategic agility and analytical ability; able to connect ideas end-to-end and solve unusual, complex problems with data.
  • Proven project management skills: planning, tracking deliverables, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and executing to timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication; able to facilitate meetings/workshops and communicate complex concepts in simple, visual terms (data storytelling).
  • High proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Knowledge of GPSC business processes, systems, and GM applications relevant to purchasing and supply chain.
  • Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA deployments, global template or fit-to-standard ERP programs, and SAP Activate-based projects.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled analytics or optimization in supply chain or purchasing, particularly adjacent to SAP platforms.
  • Experience supporting major process transformation initiatives in purchasing, manufacturing or supply chain (including plant launch, ERP cutover etc.)

Remote Type:
Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the - Global HQ Warren, Mi three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
