responsibilities:
Internal Communications Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and lead a short and long-term enterprise-wide internal communications strategy aligned with fairlife’s business objectives, mission, culture, and values
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and cross-functional partners on internal messaging, change communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Establish best practices and governance for internal communications across channels.
Employee Communications
• Oversee day-to-day employee communications, including leadership messages, company updates, change initiatives, and major milestones.
• Ensure fairlife’s messaging and positions are clear, consistent, timely, and tailored to diverse employee audiences, including corporate and plant-based teams and our TCCC system partners.
• Manage internal campaigns that reinforce our business objectives, mission, culture, values, and performance.
Plant/Manufacturing Communications & Operational Alignment
• Streamline and strengthen communications with and to fairlife’s plant locations, ensuring two-way communication between corporate teams and plant employees.
• Partner closely with Operations, Plant Leadership, HR, and Safety teams to create clear, actionable communications.
• Develop scalable tools, templates, and processes that support plant leaders in delivering effective local communications.
Employer Branding & Employee Experience
• Lead internal employer branding efforts, ensuring employees understand and can authentically represent fairlife’s business objectives, mission, culture, and values.
• Partner with HR and Talent teams to align internal messaging with external employer brand and talent attraction efforts.
• Support onboarding, recognition, and engagement programs through strong storytelling and communications.
Internal Channels
• Own the strategy, governance, and roadmap for how and when we leverage internal channels for communications, including newsletters, Intranet, all hands meetings and organization announcements.
• Partner with IT, HR, and content owners to improve usability, content quality, and adoption across locations.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of internal communications efforts.
• Use data, insights, and employee feedback to refine strategies and demonstrate impact
skills/qualifications required:
• 7+ years of experience with increased responsibility in internal/enterprise, brand communications, corporate communications or public relations, with a focus on the food and beverage industry required. CPG experience preferred.
• Proven experience supporting both corporate and frontline or manufacturing/plant-based employee populations.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute at a high level.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.
• Experience leading intranet strategy and managing multiple internal communication channels.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with change management and transformation communications.
• Knowledge of internal communications measurement and analytics tools.
