The Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for developing and executing revenue driving, best in class Email and SMS lifecycle marketing programs across the customer base, driving unit sales, paid subscription growth, and lapsed customer reactivation. This role will also be the driving force for continuous Lifecycle Marketing results improvements, spanning across customer journey optimizations, expanding audience and data attributes, operating process improvements, leveraging AI and expanding use of full email technology capability to fundamentally elevate the Lifecycle Marketing capabilities. This role is a key cross-functional member of the Digital Marketing team and will be responsible for supporting critical Marketing and Product led growth initiatives and partnering collaboratively across cross-functional teams to grow the contribution and effectiveness of the Lifecycle Marketing team’s bottom line contribution to the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle marketing strategy and execution for CRM including customer onboarding, activation, product usage and churn mitigation across Email and SMS channels

  • Responsible for driving increased incremental revenue and subscriptions from CRM Journeys; will own priority KPIs and be responsible for iterative process of Journey optimization.

  • Responsible for partnering across Lifecycle Marketing team and key cross-functional partners to ensure all lifecycle marketing campaigns are launched with strong attention to detail and execution- to ensure our customers receive brand communications that drive to business objectives as intended

  • Advance audience and data strategies, operating processes and expand usage of full suite of Customer Experience Platform capabilities

  • Own critical dashboards, KPI reports, and brand narratives to showcase launch and optimization roadmap + learnings, opportunities & results from Lifecycle Marketing

  • Execute email and SMS campaigns, including but not limited to design, development and deployment, and landing page development and publishing

  • Advise on customer messaging offers and creative to drive engagement, customer acquisition and retention through cross-functional collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal business partners to plan, develop, deploy, and successfully execute email marketing programs to achieve business objectives

  • Execute A/B and multi-variate test programs to increase customer acquisition and grow engagement, purchases, and loyalty

  • Seek, find and solve opportunities to leverage AI for team operating process opportunities & improvements

  • Drive collaboration/ connection points to other marketing and product teams

  • Stay up to date on lifecycle marketing channel best practices and the competitive landscape

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

  • Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members

  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies

  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications

  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing

  • 7+ years of Marketing experience with significant time and experience across Lifecycle, Email, SMS, CRM Marketing; 2-3+ years hands-on experience with Marketing Automation platform (i.e. Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot)

  • Ability to work in matrixed organization

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time internationally and domestically

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a ESP/ Marketing Automation platform tool (i.e. Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot)

  • Demonstrated success executing email marketing campaigns

The pay range for this position is $129,700.00 - $209,200.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
