Sr. Principal Solutions Architect - AI & Data

The Senior Principal Solutions Architect – AI & Data will lead the architecture, design, and adoption of enterprise AI, RPA, advanced analytics, data platforms, and intelligent automation solutions. This role serves as the senior technical authority responsible for translating business strategy into scalable, secure, compliant, and business-driven AI and data solutions that accelerate innovation and deliver measurable value.

The role will partner with business leaders, product teams, engineering, enterprise architecture, security, data governance, and operations teams to define architectural direction, establish standards and patterns, govern solution decisions, and guide delivery teams from concept through production deployment. This role requires deep expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, enterprise data architecture, cloud technologies, integration architecture, and financial services technology platforms.

Essential Responsibilities

• Integration strategy of core systems that interface with Digital (API frameworks, etc.)
• Lead architecture and design for enterprise AI, machine learning, generative AI, analytics, RPA, and intelligent automation initiatives
• Translate business objectives into scalable AI and data platform solutions.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, standards, governance, and approved technology patterns
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to evaluate emerging technologies and establish reusable architecture patterns
• Lead architecture reviews and present recommendations to governance and architecture review forums
• Drive cross-portfolio reuse, simplification, and architectural consistency.
• Design and create new application design patterns using Microsoft Stack as well as other open-source solutions where applicable.
• Design cloud-native AI and data architectures leveraging Azure, AWS, and SaaS platforms
• Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver software solutions that deliver business value. Identify risks and anticipate issues and guide teams through complex situations
• Analyze relevant information and prepare recommendations to guide teams in building high-quality solutions
• Lead-level designs and prototyping initiatives for web and mobile platforms
• Establish and enforce team best practices, policies and procedures. Ensure development practices are in compliance
• Assess and improve on current architectures, especially in scaling and performance
• Provide guidance and training to other credit union employees to assist in applicable requirements and administration of policy and procedures for web and mobile applications

Education & Years of Experience

• Minimum- 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Business, Technology or Related
• Minimum - 5 Years Application/product design, application development platforms, solution architecture or related

In Lieu of Education

• 8 Years Application/product design, application development platforms, solution architecture or related

Compensation & Benefits:

Typical hiring range:‏‏‎ ‎ $149,700.00 to $256,700.00‎ Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
