The Sr. Product Manager role will help drive integrations of EBSCOhost content into third party platforms via API and other technologies.  This position will help lead our go-to market strategy for upcoming API improvements.  The Sr. Product Manager will also work closely with third party partners who integrate EBSCOhost content and help future partners onboard.  The position will also act as Business Product Manager for EBSCO tools such as the EBSCOhost Passport browser plug in and Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) technologies.

What You'll Do
  • Lead go to market efforts for APIs, partnerships, and new and existing tools.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop an API roadmap that meets customer and market expectations.
  • Act as a point of contact for partners looking to integrate with EBSCO. Including providing input on business value to EBSCO. 
  • Help build and deliver stakeholder updates on integrations and partnerships
  • Partner with Sales to help arm the sales force with training and collateral so they can discuss APIs, partnerships and product features with customers.
  • Join customer meetings to present on roadmaps and gather feedback
  • Drive business requirements for future API work and integration opportunities
  • Act as lead Product Manager for Learning Tools Interoperability, including managing LMS partnerships and driving roadmaps.

Your Team

This role reports to the Vice President of Product Management and works closely with teams across Product Management, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction.  The Product Management team is comprised of 30+ Product Managers who represent different platform and functionality level initiatives.  The team is customer-facing and drives business requirements across the EBSCOhost suite of products and services. 

About You
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience
  • Must have experience working closely with customers
  • Comfortable presenting internally and externally, including in stakeholder forums
  • Experience working with APIs and understanding common API frameworks
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organization with various teams

  • Experience working in API strategy or owning partnership conversations in previous roles
  • Understanding of the library industry and how libraries leverage EBSCO products
  • Strength in building a go to market plan from the ground up
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to build credibility with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with or in libraries and understanding of common workflows 
Pay RangeUSD $136,715.00 - USD $195,305.00 /Yr.
