WHO WE ARE

AwardSpring is an established and growing Software as a Service (SaaS) company that partners with colleges and foundations to help them award scholarships and manage their donors. We aim to complete the virtuous cycle of giving/getting/giving between donors and students with our institutional partners in the middle.

ROLE

AwardSpring is seeking a senior-level Product Manager to help us take our platform to the next level through vision and innovation.  This role is critical to elevating our Product organization, strengthening data-informed decision-making, and enabling the company to scale through richer insights, better instrumentation, and deeper market awareness. This role will own our product analytics, customer feedback, insights tooling, and competitive intelligence.

This is an individual contributor role, joining a talented Product Manager with the opportunity to grow into leadership responsibility over time. You’ll work closely with executive stakeholders, reporting to the CTO and interfacing frequently with senior engineering leadership and the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the CTO and CEO to set product strategy in line with Company vision and strategy.
  • Drive structured feedback loops and participate in strategic customer conversations to elevate the voice of the customer in all product decisions.
  • Build and scale a product analytics practice that informs strategic decisions across Product, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams.
  • Define and maintain key product KPIs, dashboards, and insights tooling to ensure accurate, actionable data.
  • Analyze product usage, customer behavior, and feature performance to surface insights that shape roadmap priorities.
  • Deliver regular product insights briefs with trend analysis, recommendations, and clear business impact.
  • Maintain up-to-date competitive intelligence on features, positioning, pricing, and GTM strategies in the Scholarship, Donor, Funds, and Fundraising ecosystems.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to translate market signals and customer feedback into product strategy and enablement content.
  • Lead data governance efforts across analytics tools, documentation, and best practices to ensure accuracy and consistency.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have proven experience as a Product Manager and are looking to make a bigger impact as part of a growing team
  • You are a curious, lifelong learner who looks “outside the walls” for inspiration and vision
  • You’re comfortable presenting ideas and findings  in front of customers, executives, and peers.
  • You’re an early AI adopter, and are constantly looking for ways to challenge the status quo with what’s made possible by the latest technologies
  • You strive for product mastery through understanding usage patterns and analytics.
  • You’re comfortable with SQL and common analytical/insights tools (e.g., Pendo or similar)
  • You have an insatiable drive to improve processes and practices.
  • You are detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • You have a collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

OUR VALUES

  • ACTION: When in doubt, spring into action. Be accountable. Teach what you’ve learned.
  • DETERMINATION: Simplify and improve everything you touch. Expect obstacles. Be creative and relentless in your effort to overcome them.
  • HUMANITY: Show empathy and kindness to everyone you interact with.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Work hard every day to grow your knowledge and capabilities. Strive to become invaluable to clients and peers.
