Sr. Product Marketing Specialist – Privileged Access

We are looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Specialist to support the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, messaging, and execution for our privilege offerings. In this role, you will define how SailPoint communicates the value of its identity security solutions to customers and the broader market.

As part of the product marketing team, you will drive thought leadership initiatives, messaging frameworks, and GTM strategies that position SailPoint as a leader in identity security. You will collaborate closely with product management, sales, marketing, and leadership to craft compelling narratives, develop high-impact content, and execute GTM programs that elevate SailPoint’s adaptive identity security story in the market. To be successful in this role, you should have experience and a proven track record driving enterprise SaaS, privileged access, identity and access management, and/or identity security product marketing initiatives, along with strong storytelling, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Messaging & Positioning: Work collaboratively to refine the SailPoint identity security solution story and clearly articulate how SailPoint helps customers manage, govern, and secure privileges across identities, applications, and critical systems.
  • Develop GTM Strategies: Support the execution of comprehensive GTM plans that drive awareness, demand, and adoption globally.
  • Content Creation: Create clear, compelling content across formats including executive briefs, white papers, sales decks, blogs, webinars, and related assets that communicate value and drive engagement.
  • Thought Leadership: Help establish SailPoint as a trusted authority in identity security through customer-focused storytelling, market education, and differentiated narratives.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Analyze market trends, customer pain points, and competitor positioning to inform differentiated messaging and GTM strategies.
  • Sales & Partner Enablement: Deliver effective enablement assets, plays, and training to equip global field and partner teams with clear, differentiated positioning and practical sales guidance.
  • Measure & Optimize Impact: Help define success metrics for content, GTM, and enablement programs; track effectiveness; and refine strategies to maximize business outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in product marketing, GTM strategy, or thought leadership, preferably within privileged access, identity and access management, identity security, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Demonstrated track record of success creating and executing GTM initiatives and content strategies that drive measurable business impact.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with experience presenting to executives, sales teams, and external audiences.
  • Proven ability to create content that engages buyers and supports pipeline acceleration.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, sales, and field teams to drive market alignment and execution.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving market landscape, with the ability to adapt and refine messaging as privileged access and identity security needs continue to grow.

Education:

BA/BS required

Travel:

This position may involve approximately 10–20% travel.

Plan for Success:
