Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to help lead a transformation of our Quality Engineering practice. This visible role oversees test deliverables and contract testers, while driving domain quality strategy, vendor accountability, and modern testing approaches like automation and AI tooling. The ideal candidate will be pro-active with high levels of ownership, have domain familiarity (Life & Annuity or financial systems), experience holding vendor teams accountable, strong communication skills, and ETL, data pipeline, and SQL testing experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead testing activities for large projects. These activities include Test Planning, Test Design and Execution, and Test Management and Communication.
  • Act as a key point of contact, providing QA services and coordinating resources internally and externally.
  • Ensure timely resolution or response and follow up on requests to minimize impact on business partners and/or project teams.
  • Participate in requirements and design review meetings as a front-end to testing process.
  • Ability to perform and track test executions and report on the results.
  • Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and obtain sign off for corporate projects and releases.
  • Provide subject matter expertise through responding to questions and concerns from business and IT partners in a professional manner.
  • Understand, build, update and maintain procedural documentation as appropriate.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts by actively leading or participating as a member of cross-functional improvement teams.
  • Participate in the continuous expansion and enhancement of the F&G Testing Center of Excellence.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience in documenting and analyzing software test metrics
  • Previous experience with life and annuity products preferred
  • Experience working in an IT ecosystem (third party vendors, software suppliers, SaaS, PaaS) preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
  • Ability to translate use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases
  • Ability to understand technical specifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities under tight deadlines
  • Must be a self-motivated and well-organized team player
  • Analytical skills with proven ability to comprehend business requirements
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to influence peers, business partners, and other key leaders

Other Requirements

  • Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
