Design, develop, and execute automated API tests; perform manual and automated UI testing; write and run SQL queries to validate data; collaborate with developers to resolve defects; maintain test plans, cases, and scripts; participate in code reviews and improve testing processes and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs.
- Perform manual and automated testing of UI components.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in API testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
- Experience with UI testing and related tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 38,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 133,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
