What's the role?

As a Technical Project Manager Specialist, Traffic, you will own the successful delivery, adoption, and ongoing performance of HERE Traffic solutions across strategic and enterprise customers. You will serve as the primary technical and programmatic interface between customers and HERE’s Traffic, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams. Your mandate is to ensure traffic data, APIs, and services meet customer requirements, scale reliably in production, and continue to deliver measurable business value over time.You will manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs spanning real-time traffic data ingestion, analytics, SLAs, and platform integrations, while actively contributing to customer retention and growth. This role supports customers across multiple industries with a strong emphasis on traffic, location intelligence, and real-time data platforms. Opportunities to pursue PMI / PMP certification are supported.

Key responsibilities include:• Own and execute customer Success and Delivery Plans focused on HERE Traffic products, ensuring adoption, performance, and long-term value realization• Lead large, cross-functional programs involving Traffic Engineering, Data Operations, Product Management, Sales, and external customer teams to deliver launches, migrations, and complex integrations• Act as the Voice of the Customer for Traffic solutions by translating customer requirements, operational issues, and roadmap needs into clear inputs for Product and Engineering• Drive executive-level reviews, escalations, and decision-making for high-impact traffic programs and customer initiatives• Monitor delivery health, SLAs, and risk across customer traffic implementations; proactively identify issues and drive mitigation plans• Identify gaps in traffic delivery processes, methodologies, or tooling and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the customer lifecycle• Partner with Sales and Account Executives to consult customers on improving traffic, navigation, IoT, and location-based service use cases• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for customers, ensuring alignment across internal teams and clarity on scope, timelines, and dependencies• Travel up to 25 percent, domestic and international, to support customer engagements and strategic initiatives as needed

Who are you?

You bring deep experience managing complex, data-driven programs and customer relationships in a technical environment, with the ability to influence outcomes across organizational boundaries.

You have most of the following:• 5+ years of experience in technical roles spanning traffic data, location services, data platforms, engineering, or content, combined with customer-facing delivery or pre-sales experience• Proven Technical Program Management experience delivering large-scale, enterprise solutions involving real-time data, APIs, and cross-functional teams• Strong ownership mindset with a track record of building trusted, long-term partnerships with strategic customers• Excellent consultative and advisory skills, with the ability to translate complex traffic and platform concepts into clear business outcomes• Demonstrated ability to lead without authority, influence stakeholders across functions, and manage competing priorities in matrixed organizations• Strong organizational, risk management, and problem-solving skills, with comfort operating at both executive and delivery levels


The expected base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience. 

This position is also eligible for a target annual performance bonus, which is subject to company and individual performance.
