Enumerate is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team!
As part of our goal to create and support the best community association management software, Enumerate offers accounting solutions for clients. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements for Enumerate’s Financial Services clients. This is a hands-on role that requires experience working in the HOA/COA industry. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail,, a passion for continuous improvement, and a proven ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform bank reconciliations for associations involving multiple bank accounts
  • Prepare and issue financial statements for associations ensuring accuracy and timely completion of task
  • Prepare necessary supporting schedules including accrued expense and prepaid expense
  • Complete quality assurance checklist before issuance of financials
  • Update cover memo to financials with essential items of note for current month financials being issued
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintain accounting controls through careful attention to policies and procedures
  • Research and respond to inquiries related to financials statements prepared
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Direct participate internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/appropriate field of study or comparable work experience 
  • 3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant
  • Property management accounting experience is a bonus!
  • Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process 
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Speed and accuracy are essential for this role which requires multiple financials prepared and issued daily

The pay range is inclusive of base salary plus any applicable bonuses or commissions.

Total compensation pay range (annual salary):
$70,000$90,000 USD
