Staff Accountant

NinjaHoldings is seeking a self-motivated, intellectually curious Staff Accountant who is interested in the opportunity to grow and learn as part of a dynamic team at the heart of NinjaHoldings’ financial reporting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, financial statement analysis, and account reconciliations
  
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions
• Reconcile high-volume cash transactions and research reconciling items in loan management system
  
• Assist in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
  
• Collaborate on the development of accounting for new products 
  
• Track real-time performance of the loan portfolio using SQL-based data visualization tools
  
• Facilitate state and local tax return preparation and filing efforts
  
• Help Accounting Managers and other team members on strategic projects
  

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience
• Certification or progress towards CPA
• Strong quantitative analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, follow through to completion, and present conclusions of analysis in an organized and thoughtful manner
