Position Overview
We're seeking a Staff Data Scientist to build enterprise-scale, cloud-native, AI systems that leverage state-of-the-art data science practices. In this role, you will work collaboratively with peers to design and implement AI/ML solutions that will drive business value. You will need a deep understanding of the current AI landscape and experience leveraging Large Language Models, developing solutions using Gen AI, as well as contributing to in house custom solutions and providing thorough analysis.
What You'll Do

• Create production ready AI solutions
• Lead model research, data analysis, and options analysis for solution recommendations
• Provide the technical guidance for multiple initiatives and help to identify, prioritize, and address critical needs, challenges, or opportunities
• Contribute to the end-to-end AI processes such as data acquisition, data processing and validation, model training or algorithm design, testing, or deployment
• Provide comprehensive feedback in design reviews, code reviews, and data analysis
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of AI solutions by applying data and AI best practices, conducting thorough testing, and work collaboratively for maintenance of AI services

We're Excited to Learn More About You
Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• 7+ years of experience in data science / mathematics & stats / ML / AI engineering roles of increasing complexity
• 4+ years of experience using Python and common AI/ML frameworks
• Experience with LLMs and cloud native Gen AI services
• Experience optimizing Natural Language Processing or Computer Vision models for specialized tasks
• Experience developing custom models and contributing to their support lifecycle
• Proven track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions
• Experience working in a cloud native environment
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to derive effective solutions to complex challenges
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Degree in computer science, math, statistics, data science, engineering, or a related field

• • Candidate will need to reside in North America, working arrangement will be hybrid/remote
