Own a product area end to end, from problem definition and roadmap prioritization through delivery and go-live. Create detailed PRDs, enforce sprint discipline, coordinate engineering, design, quality engineering, customer success, and executives, and translate customer feedback into product improvements. The role requires 0-to-1 product experience, strong documentation, AI-enabled execution, and the ability to lead complex B2B SaaS initiatives across multiple teams.
About HubSync
HubSync is the AI-enabled workflow platform built for CPA firms. We replace the pile of point tools firms use to run an engagement (letters, data collection, organizers, document exchange, e-sign, e-file, payments, and analytics) with one unified system. Top 25 CPA firms already run on it. Backed by Thoma Bravo, we are scaling rapidly, and our product organization must scale with the same level of discipline.Product Managers at HubSync are not ticket writers. You own a product area end to end: what gets built, why, in what order, and whether it is ready to ship.About the RoleWe are seeking a high-caliber product leader to bridge the gap between complex tax/workflow domain needs and technical product execution. You will fully own the product roadmap, enforce strict sprint discipline, author unambiguous PRDs, and maintain cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, quality engineering, and executive leadership. What You Will Own
- End-to-End Delivery: Own a product area from problem definition to shipped outcome. Author PRDs, obtain engineering and QE sign-offs, and record the go-live decision.
- Roadmap & Prioritization: Manage and defend the quarterly roadmap for your product area. Priority requests are scored using RICE—no side doors or line-jumping.
- Sprint Scope Discipline: Enforce strict sprint boundaries. Protect engineering capacity while leading sprint reviews with real demos and clear release notes.
- Customer Signal: Partner closely with Customer Success to translate recurring request patterns and escalations into concrete product improvements.
- Quality Standard: Drive quality jointly with Quality Engineering. Ensure acceptance criteria are met before shipping—never ship on hope.
- Cross-Functional Command: Lead weekly PO checkpoints, executive recaps, and customer calls. Speak confidently for your product without waiting for direction.
- 0-to-1 Experience: Proven track record taking a product from concept to launch. You owned the bet, the scope, and the outcome.
- Startup Grit: 5+ years of experience in startup or high-growth SaaS environments. You excel in navigating ambiguity and finishing process frameworks.
- Staff-Level Scope: Track record of multi-team influence, driving outcomes over output, and solving ambiguous problem spaces.
- AI-First Execution: You actively utilize AI tools for research, drafting PRDs, synthesizing customer calls, and prototyping.
- Clear Documentation: Exceptional writing skills. Your PRDs allow engineering and QA to build and test without extra decode meetings.
- B2B SaaS Background: Experience in tax, accounting, professional services, or complex workflow automation software is a plus.
- PRD Standard: No epic enters a sprint without an approved PRD (PO, Engineering Lead, QE).
- Single Source of Truth: One quarterly roadmap, strict RICE scoring, no side doors.
- Locked Sprints: Locked sprint scope, live demos during sprint reviews, and accurate release notes.
- Data-Driven Go-Live: Go-live decisions are recorded against PRD acceptance criteria with evidence.
