The production team is seeking a Staff Writer-Intern who is passionate and motivated. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience for a career in Journalism and entertainment by accomplishing independent tasks.

Job Description

 Staff Writer - A career in journalism often begins with a role as a staff writer. Staff writers are responsible for providing standard content, such as news reports, reviews and features. In comparison with a newspaper journalist or reporter which requires traveling, a staff writer for a magazine or website is an home/office-based role.

Duties:

  • Carrying out research
  • Writing content for publication
  • Attending conferences, events or seminars

Content could fall under the category of news, reviews, features, or columns. Reviews make up a big part of electronics, music, video games and movie magazines, whereas news and features are the bulk of science, academic, art and travel magazines.

Qualifications

- Completed/Pursuing a degree-certificate in journalism or a media related field

- Ability to maintain a professional approach at all times

- Possess a positive attitude when participating in meetings

- Interests in various industries
