Job description

Position Summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Strategic Client Executive to lead one of its largest global financial services accounts. This role owns the worldwide relationship, drives long-term growth, and coordinates a unified "One Hitachi" strategy across regions and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-year global account strategy.
  • Build relationships with senior technology and business executives.
  • Lead global account teams across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
  • Identify and drive new opportunities in data infrastructure, storage, cloud, analytics, and cyber resilience.
  • Align sales, presales, services, support, and partner teams around strategic initiatives.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and account governance.
  • Position Hitachi Vantara as a trusted advisor supporting modernization and digital transformation goals.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development experience.
  • Proven success managing large, US based, global financial services accounts.
  • Existing relationships with senior technology leaders and industry networks
  • Expertise in:
    • Enterprise Storage
    • Data Center Infrastructure
    • Data Analytics
    • Hybrid Cloud
    • Cyber Resilience
    • Enterprise IT Services
  • Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
  • Experience leading complex, matrixed teams.
  • Exceptional executive communication and relationship management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing globally significant banking relationships.
  • Strong relationships with CIO, CTO, Infrastructure, Data, or Cloud executives
  • Experience working with highly regulated enterprise environments.

Ideal Candidate
