About CADDi

CADDi is a global manufacturing platform on a mission to "unleash the potential of manufacturing." Through our proprietary technology, we are transforming a trillion-dollar industry by digitizing the supply chain and providing critical infrastructure for both procurement and manufacturing teams. As we scale our North American operations, we are looking for a Strategic Planning Manager who can turn data into a strategic weapon.

The Role

The Strategic Planning Manager serves as the strategic engine and operational architect for CADDi’s North American growth. Far beyond a traditional reporting role, you will formulate high-impact strategies, translate complex data into decisive insights, and relentlessly drive execution across the organization. You will partner directly with the CEO to transform ambiguity into scalable revenue engines, bridging the gap between high-level vision and ground-level operational excellence to continuously elevate business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and frame the highest-leverage strategic questions facing the business (e.g., where to focus GTM investment, which customer segments to prioritize, how to scale revenue efficiently)
  • Develop clear strategic options backed by data, trade-off analysis, and expected business impact
  • Lead annual and quarterly strategic planning cycles, defining priorities, success metrics, and resource allocation
  • Continuously refine strategy based on market feedback, customer signals, and performance data
Translate Complex Data into Decisive Insights

You will turn fragmented, imperfect data into clear insights that drive fast, confident decision-making at the executive level.

  • Design and own core business dashboards covering revenue, pipeline, customer success, and operational performance
  • Analyze trends, variances, and cohort behavior to identify root causes and emerging risks or opportunities
  • Synthesize quantitative analysis with qualitative inputs from Sales, Marketing, BDR, Partnership, CS, and other functions
  • Distill complex analysis into clear narratives, decision frameworks, and executive-ready recommendations
  • Raise the bar on data discipline by defining metrics, ensuring data integrity, and challenging anecdotal decision-making, often co-working with Revenue ops team
Relentlessly Drive Execution Across the Organization

You will ensure that strategy does not stop at planning, but is translated into sustained execution and measurable results.

  • Break strategic initiatives into clear workstreams, owners, milestones, and success metrics
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning Sales, Marketing, BDR, Partnership, Customer Success, and other functions
  • Establish operating rhythms (weekly, monthly, quarterly reviews) to track progress and surface issues early
  • Identify execution bottlenecks and intervene decisively to keep initiatives on track
  • Hold teams accountable for outcomes while enabling them with clarity, structure, and prioritization
Who You Are
  • The Consultant-Operator: You have a "Consultant-turned-Operator" mindset. You can break down messy, ambiguous problems into structured plans, but you have the bias for action required to execute them.
  • The Data Architect: You don't just report data; you understand the systems, assumptions, and trade-offs behind it. You care deeply about accuracy, consistency, and the story the data tells, and you use data to enable confident, timely decisions
  • The Execution Driver: You are relentless about follow-through. Once a decision is made, you ensure clear ownership, milestones, and accountability—and you intervene early when execution drifts
  • The Executive Communicator: You can distill complexity into crisp narratives and recommendations that resonate with senior leadership. You are comfortable engaging directly with the CEO and influencing cross-functional leaders without formal authority.
  • The High Performer: You are likely at the Engagement Manager (EM) level or a high-performing Associate at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) looking to make a massive impact in a "0 to 1" environment.

RequirementsRequired:
  • Experience: 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth BizOps role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Industrial Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics).

Technical Savvy: High proficiency in data manipulation and the ability to learn/implement automation tools (SQL, n8n, Zapier).

Preferred:
  • Tech Stack: Advanced Salesforce administration and data visualization skills (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
  • Domain Expertise: Background in the manufacturing or industrial technology sector.

Startup DNA: Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS or "0 to 1" startup environment.

Benefits
  • Office: This role is based in our Chicago, IL office. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration to drive rapid growth.
  • Travel: Periodic travel (up to 15-20%) to customer sites or our Global HQ in Japan may be required.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $170,000 – $230,000+ (Base Salary + Performance Bonus).
  • Equity: Competitive stock option package.
  • Health & Wellness: 100% company-paid comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision).
  • Retirement: 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Time Off: Substantial Paid Time Off (PTO) and company holidays.
  • Commuter Benefits: Company-sponsored commuter and parking benefits.
