Come help shape the future of Humana's enterprise data landscape.
We are building a modern, trusted, and empowering Data & Analytics (D&A) ecosystem! We need a Strategy Execution & Advancement Lead who can bring strategic clarity, compelling communication, and cross enterprise alignment to this journey. You will focus on advancing enterprise data governance strategy by designing and executing programmatic communication frameworks, ensuring leaders, stakeholders, and contributors across the business understand, support, and activate Humana's vision for data governance and associated modernization. You will sit at the intersection of organizational change management, enterprise strategy, data strategy, and technology transformation. We're looking for the ideal go-getter who can simplify complexity, instill excitement, cultivate alignment, and help drive meaningful progress across a large, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications Leadership

  • Develop a comprehensive strategic communications framework for the enterprise Data Governance program, aligning messaging to business priorities, executive expectations, and the broader D&A modernization strategy.

  • Create clear, compelling communication materials—executive presentations, strategy narratives, visual frameworks, roadmaps, and status storytelling—that translate technical initiatives into business-relevant value.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to program and product leaders, ensuring communications reinforce program goals and drive transparency, alignment, and adoption.

Strategy Execution & Enterprise Alignment

  • Support execution of the enterprise Data Governance strategy by orchestrating communication touchpoints, stakeholder engagement plans, and structured messaging across business and technology teams.

  • Harmonize data governance, D&A modernization, and enterprise strategies—helping leaders understand how efforts fit together and what decisions or behaviors are needed for success.

  • Promote strategic awareness across the organization through facilitated sessions, education assets, and communication campaigns designed to grow capability, maturity, and shared ownership.

D&A Ecosystem Modernization Support

  • Help steer the strategic direction and change‑enablement efforts associated with modernizing Humana's D&A platforms, tools, policies, and practices.

  • Craft narratives that articulate modernization goals, value propositions, timelines, and required enterprise participation.

  • Identify communication risks or misalignments and proactively shape messaging to maintain clarity and momentum.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Partner with senior leaders, executives, data governance experts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent understanding of strategy and progress.

  • Coach peers and cross-functional contributors on communication best practices that support strategic execution.

  • Foster a culture of transparency, partnership, and shared commitment to a trusted enterprise data environment.

Core Competencies

  • Strategic Communication & Narrative Design: Able to translate complex data governance and D&A modernization concepts into clear, compelling, executive-ready messaging.

  • Cross-Enterprise Alignment & Influence: Skilled at harmonizing perspectives across business, technology, and governance stakeholders and driving shared understanding without direct authority.

  • Strategy Execution & Structured Planning: Adept at turning strategic objectives into communication frameworks, engagement plans, and repeatable mechanisms that enable execution.

  • Change Enablement for Modernization: Strong capability to shape communication that accelerates readiness, adoption, and clarity throughout transformation initiatives.

  • Executive Presence & Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrates polished, credible interaction with senior leaders and consistently produces high‑quality presentations, narratives, and strategic artifacts.

Success Measures

  • Enterprise-wide clarity and engagement

  • High‑quality strategic communication assets

  • Acceleration of Data Governance maturity and associated D&A modernization efforts

You will report to a Director, Enterprise Data Governance.
