Position Summary 

The Notifications Supervisor oversees the Notifications team within Customer Solutions, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of product change and customer communications. This role is responsible for managing team performance, coordinating notification processes, and ensuring alignment with cross-functional stakeholders to support business and customer needs.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the Notifications team, including coordinating daily activities, workload distribution, and prioritization
  • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
  • Prepare and deliver periodic performance appraisals of the Notifications team
  • Approve timecard entries and vacation/sick requests from the Notifications team
  • Provide recommendations to management regarding staffing, performance, and process improvements
  • Develop, implement, and improve procedures to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
  • Interpret and communicate work procedures to the Notifications team 
  • Cross train team members to ensure maximum effectiveness
  • Ensure all procedures and documentation are accurate, current, and consistently followed
  • Monitor team performance, service levels, and quality metrics, taking corrective action as needed
  • Coordinate product change notifications with configuration management, project management, marketing, and commercial teams
  • Represent the Notifications function in Change Control Board discussions
  • Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of product change notification documentation
  • Partner with marketing and commercial teams to ensure clear and accurate customer communications
  • Oversee the distribution of notifications to internal and external customers
  • Support resolution of customer inquiries related to product changes
  • Maintain tracking of pending and completed product changes
  • Ensure appropriate follow-up with customers for approvals as required
  • Define and maintain customer groupings based on contractual requirements
  • Support impact analysis and stakeholder identification for product changes
  • Communicate status updates and escalate issues as needed
  • Work on special assignments as they arise

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or medical environment
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
  • General knowledge of manufacturing, sales, and distribution processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal direction

Work Environment

  • This is largely a sedentary role. 
  • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
  • Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
