Department Overview
The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Department is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our associates, minimizing the EHS impact of their activities and complying with all applicable environmental, safety and industrial hygiene regulations. The EHS Department also manages Environmental Remediation projects and Sustainability programs for the company, including Climate Strategy, Supply Chain Corporate Responsibility Governance, and Product Environmental Compliance.
Job Description

The Supply Chain Corporate Manager will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Maintain compliance with global legislation, including the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), UK/Australian Modern Slavery Acts, and the U.S. Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA).

  • Manage the Conflict Minerals (3TG: Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten, Gold) due diligence process in alignment with OECD Due Diligence Guidance, and draft and assist in filing required compliance documentation, including the SEC Form SD / Conflict Minerals Report

  • Manage the EU Battery Regulation Due Diligence process, including collection of Extended Minerals Reporting Templates (EMRTs) from direct and lower-tier suppliers.

  • Oversee third-party social and environmental audit programs in the Supply Chain (e.g. RBA Audits).

  • Oversee development and implementation of supplier capacity building, training, and outreach to improve supplier compliance.

  • Integrate sustainability and human rights metrics into core procurement workflows, supplier scorecard evaluations, and contract language.

  • Participate in preparing annual public disclosures, corporate sustainability reports (CSRD/ESG frameworks), and internal executive dashboards.

  • Benchmark company practices against industry peers, rating agencies (e.g., EcoVadis), and emerging standards.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) during internal/external audits and customer compliance inquiries.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Environmental/Sustainability Studies, International Law, Business, Human Rights, or a related field. 

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience managing corporate social responsibility (CSR), supply chain sustainability, or regulatory compliance programs within a global supply chain environment.

  • Deep understanding of human rights legislation (EU CSRD, Modern Slavery Acts, UFLPA), EU Battery Regulation due diligence requirements and Conflict Minerals regulations (Dodd-Frank Section 1502, EU Conflict Minerals Regulation).

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of international standards, including:

    • UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs)

    • OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals

    • ILO Core Labor Standards

  • Familiarity with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), the RBA Code of Conduct, and the RBA Validated Audit Protocol (VAP)

  • Strong data management skills

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills to partner effectively with Procurement, Legal, Quality, and External Suppliers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and records management skills.

  • Computer skills, including Google applications, and familiarity with AI tools for data analysis

  • Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Target Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
