Supply Chain Operations Manager

Position Overview

Establish and continuously improve governance frameworks, operational standards, and project management methodologies while driving AI adoption and digital innovation. Ensure procurement initiatives deliver measurable business value and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance and Operational Framework

  • Develop and maintain governance structures: standardized methodologies, operating procedures, playbooks, templates, and reporting mechanisms
  • Establish intake, prioritization, and resource allocation frameworks
  • Define and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics (procurement performance, savings realization, supplier performance, process efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction)
  • Ensure alignment with account-level strategy, business priorities, and JLL enterprise standards
     

AI Strategy and Digital Transformation

  • Lead AI adoption strategy: identify high-value use cases for generative AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and automation
  • Integrate AI-powered tools into workflows (spend analysis, supplier discovery, contract intelligence, demand forecasting, risk management)
  • Monitor emerging AI trends, conduct market research and vendor evaluations
     

Portfolio and Project Management

  • Oversee complete procurement project portfolio (category management, supplier transitions, system implementations, contract negotiations, process optimization)
  • Maintain centralized tracking systems and dashboards for all initiatives
  • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria
     

Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

  • Drive systematic improvement through lessons learned, post-implementation reviews, root cause analysis, and best practice dissemination
  • Identify and implement process streamlining opportunities to eliminate redundancies and enhance efficiency
  • Lead process mapping, value stream analysis, and workflow optimization
  • Develop and maintain knowledge management systems
     

Executive Communication and Reporting

  • Develop executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and reports on procurement performance, portfolio health, financial impact, operational risks, and improvement initiatives
  • Support finance team's monthly accrual commentary on causality, aging analysis, and resolution path for outstanding work orders and commitments
  • Support budget forecasts, variance analyses, and financial models
  • Track and report procurement savings, cost avoidance, and value realization against targets
     

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between procurement operations and other account operational and facilities management service lines
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracting requirements, regulatory obligations, and audit standards
  • Foster culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and performance excellence

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (preferred)
  • PMP, CSCP, or similar professional certification (strongly preferred)
     

Experience

  • 8+ years in operations, project management, or supply chain management within corporate real estate, facilities management, or procurement environments (required)
  • Demonstrated expertise establishing and leading governance frameworks, operational standards, and PMO functions for sourcing and procurement teams
  • Deep understanding of sourcing methodologies, category management, supplier relationship management, and procurement best practices
     

Technical Skills

  • Expert proficiency: project management software (MS Project, Jira, or similar)
  • Advanced proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), emphasizing advanced Excel functions, data modeling, and executive presentations
  • Demonstrated expertise: data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Experience with procurement platforms, e-sourcing tools, contract management systems, work order management systems (Corrigo, Coupa, SAP Ariba, or similar)
  • Working knowledge: AI and machine learning applications in procurement (generative AI tools like ChatGPT/Copilot, predictive analytics, automation platforms)

Estimated compensation for this position:

115,000.00 – 125,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
