Dynamic Manufacturing is hiring a Supply Chain Planner to join our growing team!   We are looking for a detailed Supply Chain Planner with excellent Microsoft Excel skills to manage all Supply Chain responsibilities for key product lines at one of our busiest plants. Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management and Master Data Maintenance are all within the scope of this position.  The ideal Supply Chain Planner will have a strong understanding of information flow and product flow as well as a proven track record in customer satisfaction, inventory management and production planning.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creative problem solver and strategic decision maker
  • Manage customer demand schedules, revising orders, updating accounts, and escalating supply issues, when necessary
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints
  • Prepare floor-level production schedules considering available capacity and mitigating constraints
  • Prepare forecasts for planning, purchasing and distribution
  • Act as the key liaison between suppliers and vendors
  • Develop and publish a service parts schedule, and monitor production progress
  • Purchasing of production components in support of day-to-day manufacturing operations
  • Develop ERP proficiency in generating reports and looking for opportunities to improve company performance
  • Process Engineering Change Requests
  • Set up new items and suppliers
  • Review/Audit BOMs for accuracy


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This position is open to individuals who have worked as a direct employee in a manufacturing site. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems. User experience with an ERP System such as QAD would be a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain with a manufacturing company or similar industrial set.
  • Background in order processing and procurement.
  • Exposure to automotive manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Office Microsoft Suite, specifically in Excel.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and operating in the context that corporations succeed only when customers are satisfied.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills in spreadsheet and word-processing.
  • Ability to work collegially with all corporate personnel and as part of a cross-functional team whether as the leader or participant.
  • Ability to identify problems or potential problems and develop and implements solutions.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the USA without restrictions.
