Here’s what you’ll do every day:

In addition to delivering impactful and pragmatic business solutions, the Consultant role focuses on further building the firm’s standing among its existing clients and target clientele.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide high quality consulting services, leveraging industry knowledge and enVista methodologies
  • Collaborate with internal project team members to determine the best approach and identify appropriate firm assets to leverage in client projects
  • Provide industry expertise in relevant focus areas during client engagements
  • Develop and deliver high quality work products, deliverables, and presentations
  • Create strong relationships with firm and client peers
  • Ensure high client satisfaction from project work, aiming to exceed expectations
  • Contribute to firm intellectual assets through development or enhancement of playbooks, templates, and sample work products
  • Provide industry thought leadership for the firm’s marketing efforts by participating and/or contributing to blogs, podcasts, webinars, points of view, case studies, industry events, and other firm collateral

Here’s what you bring to the table:

The ideal candidate for this role possesses retail, distribution or supply chain industry experience, having served in roles with progressively more functional and leadership responsibilities. They deeply understand one or more of the following functional areas:

  • Store/Field Operations
  • Point of Sale Systems and Process
  • Inventory Management
  • Omni Channel Fulfillment
  • Warehouse Management Systems
  • Demand and Supply Planning
  • System Selection
  • IT assessments

The candidate will bring knowledge of one or more of the above functional disciplines and will leverage previous work to collaborate with and help our clients navigate strategic transformation efforts. Experience implementing leading software solutions within the candidate’s selected area(s) of expertise is a plus. The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be a self-starter who is motivated to develop client relationships and drive successful client engagements.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration or similar is strongly preferred
  • 2-5 years experience in the retail or consumer products industries in or in a consulting role serving these industries
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of industry issues and challenges
  • Clear and articulate communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Active listening skills and attention to detail
  • Results oriented, takes initiative, works with a sense of urgency and and deals with issues proactively, decisively and persistently
  • Flexibility and adaptability, ability to work in ambiguous situations
  • Effective time and project management
  • Strong MSFT office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time and work at client sites

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At enVista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000-80,000.
