Plans and manages either production or purchase of materials required to meet customer demand. Analyzes inventory records and creates inventory strategy to support SLA and lowest total cost of ownership for materials. Manages material flow from suppliers through order fulfillment. Expedite and de-expedite orders as necessary. Partners with suppliers and internal fulfillment teams to identify improvement opportunities and create collaborative teams to execute improvement ideas.
Job Functions:
Monitor daily exception reports to identify and resolve inventory issues. Expedite and de-expedite as necessary.
Place Purchase Orders or Production Orders as necessary to support Master Production Schedule and material flow in order to meet customer SLA.
Participate in and or lead various projects and initiatives as defined by the business that require supply planning knowledge and disciplines.
Develop and review inventory strategy for commodities managed to ensure optimum asset utilization and lowest total cost of ownership. Partner with sourcing or fulfillment to implement continuous improvement ideas.
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or HS/GED and 7 years of experience
Basic/general PC Skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar.
Experience: 5 years of supply management / inventory management experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $67,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.Benefits
