  • Serve as the team's expert guide on complex quantitative models, advanced statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Own performance management, talent development, and succession planning for the team.

2. Pricing Risk Analytics

  • Lead analytical support for pricing initiatives, including APR actions, fee strategies, and portfolio pricing optimization.
  • Quantify the risk, credit loss, customer behavior, and profitability impacts of pricing decisions.
  • Develop analytical frameworks to evaluate risk-adjusted returns and long-term portfolio performance.

  • Lead test-and-control design, performance measurement, and incremental impact analysis for major Cards initiatives.
  • Develop methodologies to measure revenue, balances, losses, customer engagement, and portfolio outcomes.
  • Provide analytical recommendations to optimize business strategies and customer treatments.

4.Balance Sheet & Financial Analytics

  • Support business balance sheet management, portfolio profitability, and capital efficiency analysis.
  • Evaluate the P&L, balance sheet, reserve, and capital impacts of strategic business actions.
  • Partner with Finance and Risk teams on planning, forecasting, and regulatory-related portfolio assessments.

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Partner across Business, Pricing, Risk, Finance, Product, and Franchise organizations.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, executive-ready recommendations.
  • Present strategic insights and business implications to senior leadership and governance forums.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial services or management consulting, with a strong focus on credit risk, capital management, and financial planning.
  • Expert knowledge of consumer banking products (especially Credit Cards), including P&L drivers, risk/return dynamics, and key performance indicators.
  • Deep, practical knowledge of capital and balance sheet management frameworks, including CCAR, CECL, Basel III Endgame, and Recovery & Resolution Planning.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing forecasting models for balance sheet and P&L components.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead quantitative teams and derive actionable insights from complex risk/reward trade-off analysis.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex analytical solutions on tight deadlines.

Technical Proficiency

  • High proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience with, or demonstrated experience leading teams that heavily utilize, statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, Python, R).
  • Experience leveraging large-scale data platforms (e.g., cloud data warehouses, Hadoop/Spark environments) is highly desirable.

Leadership Competencies

  • A demonstrated history of driving change, managing for results, and solving complex, ambiguous problems.
  • A collaborative work style with the ability to build strong relationships and influence partners across organizational boundaries and hierarchies.
  • Executive presence with consistently clear, concise, and persuasive communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • A forward-thinking leader who can drive innovation while maintaining a detailed, end-to-end view of the business.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering) is required.
