POSITION SUMMARY:
Using fundamental concepts within well-defined procedures, install, configure, support, and integrate information systems hardware and software for end users. Primary functions include hardware support (PCs, printers, terminals, trakkers etc.), Help Desk, telecommunications, applications support and routine operating systems backups. May work on specific aspects of assigned projects or complete small projects. People in this position are expected to have exceptional customer service skills. This position requires an ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled form. Must be able to work with frequent interruptions and be able perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Must have a high degree of patience, cooperativeness, intuitiveness, initiative, and exceptional judgment.

Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with Company safety policies.
Follow Magna's Code of Conduct and Ethics and related compliance policies.
Provide technical end-user hardware and software support via Helpdesk Ticketing system.
Participate in Help Desk operations to resolve and/or appropriately escalate user requests in a timely manner to ensure user productivity.
Ensure all IT services are online and operational via automated System Check process (e.g., backups).
Effectively support Company hardware, which includes but is not limited to Phones, PC's, Bar code equipment and pagers.
Install/configure network and PC peripherals (e.g., printers).
Perform basic software functions to optimize performance on PCs.
Maintain and configure Phone Switch and phone peripherals.
Maintain user accounts and passwords on network and business systems, which include but are not limited to Network, phone and voicemail systems. Maintain, repair and program internal pagers.
Maintain, repair and program barcode and scanning equipment.
Configure 2-factor authentication on personal and work cell phones.
Liaise with voice and data cabling contractors to ensure quotes and installations are correct and on time.
Document and update relevant processes.
Keeps current and evaluates relevant software/hardware technology and makes suggestions and recommendations as appropriate.
Advise Manager of Information Services as to status of projects.
Perform other duties as required.

$80,412.80 - $90,188.80
