Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Partner at BGB Group plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in the life sciences strategy consulting/strategic advisory industry. This individual will partner closely with departmental leaders and hiring managers across our consulting teams to understand business objectives and develop recruitment strategies that align with the company's mission of delivering innovative commercial solutions for our biopharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive and resourceful professional with a strong understanding of the consulting and advisory landscape, enabling them to source candidates who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a trusted advisor, the Talent Acquisition Partner will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to extending offers and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Partner will maintain robust talent pipelines and leverage data-driven insights to optimize hiring outcomes. Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for delivery and revenue generating consulting professionals in the life sciences sector
- Develop and maintain pipelines of active and passive candidates through strategic sourcing on platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and professional networks
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand departmental needs, create tailored recruitment strategies, and align on success factors for each role
- Maintain and update job postings while leveraging the ATS (e.g., Greenhouse) for candidate engagement and tracking
- Drive best practices in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring to attract top talent, with a focus on fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce
- Organize and participate in recruitment events, including career fairs and industry networking opportunities, to build strong talent pipelines
- Analyze recruiting metrics to evaluate effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Stay informed on current trends and tools in talent acquisition, ensuring innovative and effective approaches to finding and engaging candidates
- Build and nurture high-touch relationships with qualified candidates, positioning BGB Group as an employer of choice
- Provide proactive solutions for hard-to-fill roles by developing targeted outreach campaigns and leveraging data-driven insights
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, FP&A and Transformation, to support initiatives that strengthen the organization’s employer brand and talent acquisition efforts
- Conduct ongoing market research to recommend innovative sourcing channels and recruitment strategies tailored to BGB Group's unique needs
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication throughout the hiring process, upholding compliance and delivering consistent, high-quality results
Preferred Qualifications
- Required: 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 1 years in the life sciences consulting/strategic advisory industry and proven ability to hire consultants at all levels including delivery through revenue generator
- Expertise in sourcing passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, social media platforms, and other innovative methods
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the recruitment process and building diverse talent pipelines
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to track recruiting metrics and inform strategies for improvement
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse) and proficiency in utilizing recruitment tools for sourcing and engagement
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a proactive approach to talent acquisition
- Enthusiasm for employer branding initiatives and a passion for representing the organization positively in the talent marketplace
- Knowledge of current recruiting trends, job boards, and social networks to source and attract top-tier candidates effectively
Compensation: $60-70 per hour (this is a freelance position, up to 40 hours per week with working hours Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm ET)
The range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. Actual compensation decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need.
