Reports To: Director of Talent Acquisition

Location: Chicago, IL

Environment: Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)

Purpose of Your Work:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Redwood Logistics, you will collaborate with leaders across the enterprise to source and hire top talent.

In this role, you will partner closely with our Multimodal Brokerage Business to drive high-impact recruiting strategies specifically tailored to scale and support our Sales and Operations teams.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand needs by requisition, formulate a sourcing strategy, and establish regular cadence with hiring teams from requisition open to close
  • Serve as primary point of contact for prospective new talent throughout interview process offering education around Redwood’s history, mission and values
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews while applying best practices
  • Update Talent Acquisition software and/or reports
  • Follow established company procedure and process for interviews, offers, and onboarding
  • Participate in scheduled Talent Acquisition meetings for updates, recommendations, and alignment
  • Work closely with designated HR Business Partner/Director of TA to align talent acquisition efforts with organizational strategy, workforce planning, and a smooth onboarding handoff
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition/Human Resources team on special projects

You’ve Got This?

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, human resources, business, or similar field, or the equivalent in professional experience
  • 1+ year of experience in Talent Acquisition in the Logistics industry preferred
  • Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable to changing business needs

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and hybrid (3 days in the office/week) Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Compensation Range:

Salary Range:

$50,000 - $60,000

This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance.

The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
