Who We Are:
Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food.  It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something.
Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 45 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.
Powered by technology and a network of 1500+ restaurants, we feed hungry people at work through a platform of unique food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, schools, distribution centers, and more. At Fooda, we believe a workplace food program should be something employees love and look forward to every day.

Who We Are Looking For:
As the dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist for Fooda’s SM2 (Amazon) program, you will own the full-cycle recruitment process for the program team and partner-facing roles as we stand up the program ahead of the 2027 launch wave. Initially reporting to the VP of Program Operations in year one, with a dotted line to Fooda’s People team, you will run hiring against a rolling launch schedule, absorb the turnover backfill that scaling always brings, and grow over time into a strategic partner for the program team. This role prioritizes a Chicago-based hire.
Who You Are:
You are an experienced full-cycle recruiter who is comfortable owning a role end-to-end, solo, and operating self-directed under a fast launch cadence. You are a strong communicator and relationship builder who can influence hiring decisions and deliver an excellent candidate experience, and you use data and insights to continuously improve your approach.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Own and drive full-cycle recruiting for SM2 program roles and partner-facing hires, ensuring a seamless, high-quality candidate experience
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines against a rolling launch schedule
  • Support partner recruitment alongside the partner-development function
  • Own turnover backfill so launches don’t stall on open seats
  • Partner with hiring managers on hiring strategy, interviewing best practices, and candidate evaluation
  • Use recruiting metrics and data to track performance, identify opportunities, and optimize the process
  • Prioritize building diverse and inclusive candidate slates
  • Grow into a strategic partner for the program team as it matures

What You Should Already Have:
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience; comfortable owning a role end-to-end solo
  • Proven ability to operate remotely and self-directed under a fast launch cadence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence hiring managers
  • Ability to use data and metrics to inform recruiting strategies and improve results
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • HR generalist / HRBP exposure is a plus

What We’ll Hook You Up With:
  • Competitive market salary and stock options, based on experience
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision plans
  • 401k retirement plan with company match
  • Paid maternity and parental leave benefits
  • Flexible spending accounts
  • Company issued laptop
  • Daily subsidized lunch program (ours!) and free food and beverages in the office
  • A fulfilling, challenging adventure of a work experience

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No phone calls or recruiters please.
The salary range for this role is $70,000–$80,000. The salary is dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to: work experience, training, location and skills.
