- Maintain and grow relationships with game stores, dealers, distributors, and collectors to ensure a steady pipeline of high-quality TCG inventory.
- Negotiate purchases, secure competitive pricing, and evaluate opportunities for bulk buys and strategic acquisitions.
- Work closely with the Vault Operations team to ensure smooth intake, cataloging, and storage of newly sourced TCG inventory.
- Partner with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and replenish high-demand sets, sealed product, and singles.
- Manage the grading submission pipeline, ensuring cards are submitted efficiently and returned on timelines that support product releases.
- Evaluate raw card quality at the point of sourcing, ensuring a healthy flow of gradable inventory.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams to identify inventory needed for campaigns, promotions, and key calendar moments.
- Partner with Product to help identify new TCG product opportunities—from curated drops and set breaks to marketplace expansions.
- Stay close to community trends across major TCG ecosystems to inform buying strategy and category growth.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in TCG sourcing, collectibles buying, trading, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of major TCG ecosystems (e.g., Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!) including set structures, rarity tiers, grading standards, and hobby trends.
- Experience evaluating card condition and identifying high-value singles and sealed product opportunities.
- Comfortable negotiating deals and working in fast-paced environments.
- Highly organized with strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- A builder mindset—comfortable helping shape processes, categories, and new offerings.
- Deep passion for the TCG community and an understanding of collector behavior and market dynamics.
- Ability to travel occasionally (20%+) to major conventions, shows, and dealer visits to source inventory and represent the brand.
