Technical Customer Success Account Manager (TAM)

Assertive Yield is looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our growing Customer Success organization. As a trusted technical advisor, you'll partner with enterprise publishers to ensure successful implementations, optimize platform performance, and help customers maximize the value of their investment in Assertive Yield.
Working alongside Customer Success Account Managers and Solutions Engineers, you'll own the ongoing technical relationship throughout the customer lifecycle while serving as the bridge between business goals and technical execution.

What You’ll Do
You'll own the technical health of a portfolio of enterprise publisher partners by leading implementations, driving platform adoption, identifying optimization opportunities, and providing strategic technical guidance that enables long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Account Management
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for an assigned portfolio of enterprise publishers.
- Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders.
- Own ongoing technical account health and platform adoption.
- Develop technical success plans aligned with customer business objectives.
Technical Onboarding & Adoption
- Lead technical onboarding and implementation activities.
- Validate customer configurations and integrations.
- Deliver technical enablement and best-practice guidance.
- Ensure customers successfully adopt new platform capabilities.
Platform Optimization
- Analyze publisher performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Recommend technical improvements that increase revenue and operational efficiency.
- Conduct technical account reviews and contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Monitor platform health and proactively identify risks.
Technical Escalation Management
- Own standard technical support escalations.
- Troubleshoot integration and platform issues.
- Coordinate investigations with Product and Engineering when necessary.
- Escalate complex issues requiring product changes or code development to Solutions Engineering.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Customer Success Account Managers to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers on complex technical initiatives.
- Advocate for customer technical needs internally.
- Support Sales during expansion opportunities requiring technical consultation.
Documentation & Enablement
- Maintain technical documentation and implementation guides.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and technical support processes.
Who You Are
You enjoy solving technical problems while building trusted customer relationships. You're equally comfortable troubleshooting integrations, analyzing platform performance, and explaining technical concepts to customers.
Requirements
- 3+ years in Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting, Ad Operations, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
- Experience with Google Ad Manager and publisher monetization.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and browser technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills.
