As a Product Manager, you will develop product strategies, analyze data, track KPIs, collaborate with teams, and ensure compliance for lending products.

Above Lending is seeking a Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the customer experience, operational experience, and business KPIs for your product area. You will work closely with the engineering team, operations team, strategy team, as well as the executive team to drive the product roadmap and deliver innovative solutions to our customers and employees. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for problem solving.
This role is hybrid, 3 days per week, in our Chicago office.You Will:
- Develop a product strategy and roadmap that supports product and business objectives.
- Identifying new opportunities for expansion and growth while balancing the importance of system maintenance.
- Build business cases for new integrated products, services, and features.
- Lead product discovery, data analysis, and user research efforts.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of changes.
- Work closely with engineering, sales, operations, and analytics teams to define requirements and build PRDs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, analytics, sales, and design) to ensure successful product launches and changes.
- Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to optimize business performance and user experience.
- Ensure that products meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including user guides and release notes
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in a professional, scientific, or technical field (e.g. consultant, engineer, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or similar (quantitative)
- Data fluency and demonstrated data-driven decision-making abilities, with strong analytical and quantitative skills, utilizing data and metrics to support assumptions, recommendations, drive action, and monitor product health, including experience with SQL using queries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and concise messaging
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Thirst for problem solving
