In this role

You’ll provide advanced technical support to global developers and IT professionals while improving the support experience through automation. You’ll troubleshoot complex Microsoft platform issues, identify root causes, and use scripting or tools to streamline operations. You’ll be encouraged to question existing processes, recommend better ways to work, and help implement automation that reduces manual effort and improves response times.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for Microsoft technologies (Azure, Entra, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, Dynamics 365, and Windows Server).
  • Debug and resolve technical issues with a focus on identifying underlying causes, not just symptoms.
  • Design and implement automation tools (e.g., PowerShell scripts, command-line utilities, or small workflow automations) to optimize support operations.
  • Evaluate recurring support scenarios and propose automated solutions to eliminate repetitive work.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to transition manual processes into scalable automated systems.
  • Support the migration from ServiceNow to Dynamics 365, ensuring smooth data and workflow transitions.
  • Maintain and expand a technical knowledge base of scripts, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
  • Participate in community events, handle occasional off-hours escalations, and deliver consistent high-quality support to global users.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience providing technical support in IT, cloud, or software environments.
  • Strong experience with PowerShell and command-line scripting for automation.
  • Practical knowledge of Azure administration, Entra / Azure AD, GitHub.
  • Proven ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues independently.
  • Analytical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset—able to question “should this be automated?” and follow through.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, server administration, and tenant management.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks or workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate, Python, or other scripting).
  • Prior experience creating or maintaining a technical knowledge base.
  • Experience working with distributed global teams and supporting developer communities.
